Residence at La Rotativa — La Tallera

La Rotativa emerged in 2023 as a space to share with the public, both local and from other latitudes, activities related to research, publishing, presentation and conversation about books and writing, and as an alternative to make visible the work of independent publishers and artistic publishing projects.
Today, with the presentation of Minerva Ayón, this residency project evolves into a stage in which the artists that presents their artistic practice explores design and production of utilitarian objects as an alternative means of expression.
Ayón is a highly versatile visual artist whose work focuses on playful and daring questioning of gender roles and identities, desire and feminism. In her practice she has ventured into techniques and disciplines as varied as installation, drawing, sculpture, performance, land art, or digital art.
During her stay at La Rotativa, Ayón will conduct a series of workshops related to her plastic creation and will make available to the public, unique pieces of her most recent artistic production, digital prints, graphics and ceramics.
